Product Description
& 100 photos & 50 drawings & 6 x 9 & Concise guide to modern ammunition.& Detailed specifications and illustrations.& International coverage A rifle without ammunition is an expensive club, an artillery piece without shells, a futuristic sculpture. To fully understand weapons, one must understand ammunition. Some types have remained basically unchanged for more than a century, while others change radically as new technology develops or new types of targets present themselves. This latest in the popular Military Manual series examines everything from simple rifle cartridges to highly complex "smart" projectiles, from grenades and mortar bombs to cannon and tank ammunition.

This has to be one of my favorite books because it covers a lot of hard to find information about some of the world's most famous, amazing and exotic munitions. It did miss some of the classics, but over all it was great. It was worth every cent and I STRONGLY recomend this book. Ian V. Hog did a lot of reaserch on this one and it realy shows up when you read it. Because of this book, I am going to check out some other books by Ian V.Hog.
