Both introductory chapters, dealing with origins of zeolites, their cleaning, identification, etc., and details on species, i.e.type localities, structure, physical and optical properties, variations in chemical comoposition, etc., are well readable. For a specialist there is sufficient list of references and perfect survey of morphology in drawings and micrographs. The worldwide localities survey is a clear evidence that the author has visited most of the world top localities. As for the Czech Republic even some references published in Czech are reviewd there, only the German place names should be novelized into the Czech one. The book is very much appreciated in my country both by the zeolite professionals and mineral collectors. We all are looking forward to the authorœ new books on zeolites of the USA,etc.
