This book if great for high school teachers, or first year college chicano studies students who wish to teach or learn about Mexican-American History. Carlos Jiménez makes a great effort to start with prehistoric but well advanced civilizations like the Aztecs/Toltecs/Mayans and thier contributions to society to the contributions made by Chicanos/Mexican Americans now in our society.
